I’m a wedding and family photographer based just outside Ottawa, in Lanark County, surrounded by quiet roads and open fields. That slower pace has shaped the way I see things, and the way I photograph people.

I work quietly and without much interference. I’m not there to turn your day into a performance or walk you through a checklist of poses. I’m paying attention to what’s already happening, and documenting it as it is.

I’m interested in the moments most people overlook. The in-between ones. The slightly messy, imperfect, real parts of a day that don’t feel important at the time, but end up meaning the most later.

As an introvert, I know when to gently step in and when to step back. You won’t be left wondering what to do, but you also won’t be over-directed. There’s space for things to unfold naturally.

At home, I’m a mom to two teenagers and a dog who has no concept of personal space. Life is full, a little chaotic, and rarely picture-perfect, and that’s exactly why I don’t expect perfection from anyone I photograph.
