Amanda and Will were married on a warm September day in Ottawa, with their ceremony held at the beautiful AllSaints Event Space. The day began earlier that morning at an AirB&B near the venue, where she got ready with her bridal party in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.

One of the most memorable moments of the day happened there before anyone left for the ceremony. Amanda shared a first look with her dad, and as soon as he turned around and saw her in her dress, the emotion on his face said everything. It was one of those moments that completely caught me off guard and honestly brought me to tears behind the camera.

Later that afternoon, everyone gathered at AllSaints Event Space. It’s such a unique space for a wedding, with its soaring wood beams, stained glass windows, and warm light filling the room as guests take their seats.
When Amanda walked down the aisle with her father, the room was full of people who clearly loved them, and you could feel the anticipation as she made her way toward Will.

Although my editing style has evolved a bit since this wedding in 2023, my intention behind photographing a wedding day has always stayed the same. I want the photos to feel like the day felt. The quiet moments, the nerves, the laughter, and the connection between people who care about each other.

Amanda and Will’s wedding was such a meaningful day, and photographing moments like these is one of the reasons I love documenting weddings in Ottawa.
I’m so grateful I was able to document this day for them.
If you're planning a wedding at AllSaints Event Space or anywhere in the Ottawa area and are looking for a photographer who focuses on genuine moments and storytelling, I would love to hear about your plans.
